Eugene Delta Ponds | Tres Rios Ecosystem | Ponca State Park

Tetra Tech’s biologists, economists, engineers, geomorphologists, and fisheries professionals represent a complete team adept at performing habitat restoration projects of all sizes and scope. Our comprehensive services span the fields of environmental assessment; habitat evaluations; endangered species studies; aquatic habitat restoration; marine biology, estuary and marsh studies; wetland impact studies; water quality analyses; fisheries and benthic community surveys; and instream flow analyses. We have developed wetland and marsh enhancement and restoration programs in natural streams, in lakes, and along coastal regions.

Projects have included reconnection of secondary channels to rivers, dam removal, estuarine marsh restoration. Capabilities include evaluating applicable Federal and state laws and regulations, analyzing system response to proposed actions and/or inactions, coordination of multi-disciplinary teams for preparation of permit applications according to applicable Federal and state laws and regulations to environmental documents and EISs.

Unique to Tetra Tech’s team is the ability to develop and apply environmental output evaluations, allowing our team to quantify and compare the relative environmental benefits provided by numerous alternative plans. This process allows our clients to see the big picture, enabling them to make the most sensible, responsible decisions. We have applied many models including HEP, HGM, and WET, and often develop HEP-like models that are tailored to the specific decision-support needs of individual projects.
